My friend wants to know if 350 truck heads will fit on a Olds 350 Rocket engine? If so, they better than the stock ones? Thanks in Advance!

350 Chev heads and 350 Oldsmobile heads are totally different. They won't interchange.

Kevin's right, they won't swap. Rocket blocks are thicker castings. You can bore out a rocket block alot more than a standar chev block, but they won't accept starndard sbc heads.
Uhhh.... I think an olds 350 Rocket is different than a DRCE "Rocket Block".
But one things for sure, you can't use SBC parts on either of them.

1) Olds and Chevy engine parts are not interchangeable
2) "350 Rocket" was coined in the late 60s for the Olds 350 available at the time- although some people have felt compelled to still call 1980s-era 350 blocks "Rockets". The basic block design did last into the 1980s with different heads, and was also converted into the infamousy unreliable Olds 350 Diesel engine-neither were "Rockets" by definition or performance.
3) Olds engines really did not have "big" and "small" blocks (at least not in the V8 lineup)- the external dimensions were the same on say a 350 vs. a 455. A few people have tried to differentiate the two into 'big' and 'small' based on crank journal size- but this is silly in my opinion. In response to the idea of a "bigblock" 350 Olds engine- by the rather 'iffy' definition of larger crank journals- then Yes- the original "Rocket" block would have fit this criteria.

GM liked to put "Rocket" decals on the air cleaner lids of SBC Oldmobiles back in the late 70's and early 80's. They got sued for it. That's why the SBC was renamed the "Corporate small block".
The only "fast" 350 Rockets where the W30 cars and they only made like 25 of them.
