Interior Freshen Up

well... 260bux to freshen up my interior this summer... 180 for a new console and 80 for a new radio/heater control pod... these are brand new from Thirdgen Resource

Oh yeah... almost forgot.. that in USD.. and I also forgot the new steering wheel... forget it... more like over 600bux... oh well.. gotta keep her looking decent, at least inside... I don't have to look at the paint much

Now you just need some nice black leather seats Nathan!

Classic Industries and Year One are excellent resources and their customer service reps are very helpful and friendly on the phone...but they are also very expensive. Definately a last resort place next to Paradise Alley!

Well.. the steeringwheel is a must!! The console may be able to be fixed, it is separating on the drivers side... and the radio pod is flimsy. I am very picky when it comes to interior.

I think being picky is a very good thing for the interiors on our cars. It dosen't seem to take anything to screw something up inside these things. A knee to the dash pad as you are getting in and the vinyl breaks off and you are looking for new one. Headliner glue dries out and material flops around in the breeze. just see what happens when you give one of those torx screws a bit to much torx cracked plastic everywhere. And don't you just love it when you go to open the door to get out and the door handle comes off in your hand. Man I love Thirdgens.

Yup being picky is a good thing. You have to keep fixing stuff as soon as it happens or before you know it the whole interior will be falling appar.

Yeah.. I hit my knee a lot on the way out, nothing broken yet, there at least... My car is still a rattle machine I don't have the patience to go around the whole car and tightening everything that rattles... but I at least like the interior to look pristine...

Haven't taken panels out yet to install my amp and sub... this winter though,.

I really didn't find them to be that bad, although I didn't buy injectors or anything like that.

Ya I will agree to that. They arnt bad for brand new aftermarket stuff where they play the middle man and dont make it or really set the price to much. But for used stuff they are terrible. Ive heard so many stories and got ridiculous prices when Ive called. I sure hope its a side business or those 2 fools must be poor...
