Who's good for insurance?
As some of you may know I've been in search of a Z28/IROC... Well I'm still looking however I'm also in search of fair priced insurance as it won't exactly be a daily driver and I'd like a company that will acknowledge that. Anyway I'm 24 and still at home with the parents(I know, I know) and going to put down their car as the daily driver if it helps. If you dont mind me asking who do you have insurance with and how much do you pay and what are the details of your insurance(collission, kms/year etc..) I guess it'd be best for those around my age to give me info however if you know of an insurance company that'd be best(out of the choice of like what.. 5 or so) I'd appreciate any advice on them or on how to insure my car the cheapest way possible as I'm not going to be using collission for the first year of driving it and would rather just put money into the car instead of into someone else's pocket
Copperchick already gave me the tip of not listing it as my 'drive to work' vehicle and said it gave made a big diff in monthly payments. I also did an online quote through that autonet.ca site and it came up as TD having the best rate for me. Anyway guys help me out here please

Try Wawanessa. They gave me the rate for a 25 yr old when I was 24, as my birthday fell within the policy (1 yr) period.
Saves Huge $$$
Also try Silverwheels if your car is over 15yrs old and you're over 25. Youl'll pay about $250 a year with collision, but you can't use the vehicle as a daily driver.
