Cant figure out wether to get the 2" cowl or 4" cowl hood for my Z. I'd relly like the SS, but its too much for a hood!!! Post any pics of either if you have em.....i used to have a pic of an in car view with a cowl hood, but cant find it again on here........anyone?

I am not a big fan of the cowl hoods on our cars...but that's just me. I would say to go with the 2" cowl, unless you need the extra clearance

Personally, I agree. I think a 2" cowl looks good, and will probably supply all the underhood clearance you will need.

I don't like those after-market hoods. Is it just the look you are after ? Clearance ? If you need cooling you should be able to figure a way and keep the factory hood. I like the factory look.

if you do a search on the app board, I'm sure you'll find many pics.

My bro has a 4'' and looks real good, but his car is kinda crappy, lol, so anything helps.

I would try and make your stock hood fit.. ilike the looks of the stock hood.. Is there that much of a problem getting a stealth ram to fit under that hood? If not get the ram air hood I have seen around here somewhere I think it is on the main page on the thunder racing banner.. I will see if I can find a bettr pic..
