Welcome to the boards Dave. Always great to have a new member. We are hoping to have a lot of gatherings this year like Mark is having. Racedays and hopefully even a camping & racing weekend too. Again Welcome and enjoy all that is here to be offered.

Haven't you been engaged for like 6 years? Couldn't you push your marriage back just one more year so you can make it to the car show?

Haha! Just kidding.

BTW, Mark, I think we should have a "Beaters" section, or maybe a "Work In Progress" section. My car would fit right in.

I would love to help you out and buy it,...but I too am selling mine right now. Being that I am laid off and not making very much $$$ and don't have the time or $$$ to fix up this one, I too am selling mine...Unless something big happens really soon. I have it in the Tri ad and all right now. Whos knows...

I'd be there as long something doesn't come up at work at the last minute. June might be better for the weather though as has been mentioned.

It's close to where I live and I could probably get the car there even with the crapped out tranny that's in it now.

Even if I had to get it towed home it would'nt be that expensive.. lol. I'm holding off on the TH350 swap for now because what I really want is a T56 but that's a lot of coin and the 305 has seen better days so it'll eventually have to go as well.

Hey Mark, I would love to come. Nice and close for both of us....Bonus!
It is a good parking lot...no speed bumps and plenty of room since Walmart moved. I look forward to it.

Damn, seems like every time there is a meet, I have plans already. I will be in Peterborough that weekend, hitting the links with 23 other guys. Boys weekend out. Not too worry, though. I will be around the rest of the summer.

I can prolly make it, not 100% with May 31 being my birthday and all, depends if the wife plans anything special

I can prolly get at least a half dozen more peeps from around my area to go. This for Third gens only? I got a m8 with a 2nd gen Z and my wife has a 4th gen TA.

May 24 was cold last year, I was up at Sauble beach for the weekend, it snowed the last 2 nights But the wife and myself will be there again this year , and a few other F-body m8's too.

i dont know if this date is written in stone but i would suggest that you make it a wee bit later..like maybe 2nd week of JUNE not anywhere near may 24..like many people said...may 24 was horrible last year...and the way things look now it will be the same or worse... i know that i dont bring the iroc out until i can drive it with the windows down and the ttops off..but i am only one person

just my 2 cents

I think he said May 31 not May 24, but I am sure when the date gets settled he will post it Personaly a later date would be abit better. I wouldnt have to worrie about any of the wifes plans then.

Oh and last May 24 was cold but i can remember getting sunburnt bad drriving around in the old Vette with the roof off on a few May 24's up at Sauble and the GTA area is alot warmer so only time will tell what it will trully be like. Gotta think positive

Scamo...as long as you think your car is nice thats all that matters....I drove mine as primer grey for one summer and I thought it looked awsome!

I am sure there is enough of us on here that can help you get that car back together in time, just let us know if you need a hand etc.

Alright guy's thank you I won't forget your offers, I have a long way to go so I may just be posting some cry's for help. I would kill to work on it now if it wasn't for this freezing weather! Oh well thats Canada I suppose. Speaking about cry's for help, does anybody have any high detailed pictures of their engine bay, I figure that'll help with wiring and vacuum stuff..??...???...??..
