Technically, my Jimmy ran a 14!

Yep that's right, on Thursday it actually ran a 14. My co-workers were shocked. I was a little surprised myself, but I kinda suspected it'd be around there somewhere... A 14 from a 4.3L, and not in the eigth either. Imagine that.

Quarter mile? Naw... mpg.
(Hardly an impressive number I know, but I gotta laugh or my wallet will hurt)

Geeez..thats almost as bad as my 85 Delta 88!

....But I think I probably have you beat under the "oil consumption category" aprox 3L ever tank of gas and there is only a small quarter sized spot on the driveway! Burn baby burn!

Yep, you've got me there. Jimmy's not burning much oil at all, unless you count the slight drip from the main seal onto the exhaust. That's the reason I went to 10w40.

I guess those four tires and steel rims I have in the back are bringing my mileage down more than I thought. Jimmy sure feels a little more sluggish with them back there. Dammit, I want to keep my offroading wheel with me. lol I checked a while back and I was getting around 16mpg. Those very agressive 30"s must be al least forty pounds each. Give me a good snow storm so I can slap them on... lol

Few more mods, and you'll get that puppy deep in the 13's.

Oh my...

This is getting ugly...

Well last weekend I did some offroading, so lil Jimmy spent a lot of time idling, and nearly a week in his off-roading tires (very aggressive and rough 30"s), with the street tires sitting in the back. My mileage for that tank? <gulp> 11.5mpg. Needless to say the street tires are back on and the offroading tires are sitting in the garage. Hands up, how many of us are looking forward to getting our summer cars out so you can get better mileage?

And to top it off my kitten kinda tried to kill me. lol He gave me a nice little puncture on my knee which got seriously infected. The little runt...
