4th gen console in 3rd gen

Hi all,
just wondering if anybody on our board has done this upgrade.
It says on the other boards that it bolts right in and all you have to worry about is the switches. Anybody out there confirm this before I go forward.

I've read it bolts right in but there is alot of cutting involved to have it molded properly perimeter wise.

Scott use the search option. You will find all there is to know by using it. Many have done it, and these will tell you the does and don'ts. Good luck!

I went through all the search topics on this and still had some questions. It seems that I would need a 6 spd console as the auto's don't swap right in. Was hoping for a live person that I could hook up with and see it first hand. If you know one pls let me know.
