cutout into side exhaust

cutout into side exhaust

okay I was thinking of having a cut out after the cat before the rear tires and then run the exhasut from the cut out out a side pipe. anyone got ideas on that? anyone done it? if so you got pics?

cats holwed out anyways so it doesn't matter if it's before or after I just thought it might look coool with a side exhaust

not like a true side pipe just a tip that comes out right infront of the rear wheel

I disagree. When done right, it can looking damn sweet. I think that'll be my project when true duals go on. It will involve som 6" Flowmasters and oval exhaust pipe.

I think just in front of the rear tire would be cool. I have a cut out just before my cat, and all it does when the cap is off is blast the passenger/cabin with vibrations. It doesn't really sound good from the inside of the car. Outside... That's a different story.

Sounds to me like you might get into too much cost for customizing the system. Pick urself up a good cat back system & save urself the hassle ... that's my 2 cents anyway.

I put mine before the cat. It sounds awesome... but I did it for performance reasons not just to wake up the neighbours.
