now that i've had my 5 minutes rest for the day posting these pictures... back to sanding!!!!!! gotta finish my valve covers before i go to sleep (yes scott, you convinced me to put them on, so i gotta finish the other one) and then i wake up tomorrow and get ready for 15 more hours of sanding.
I dont know why people always complain about polishing and porting the plenum. Polishing was easy stuff, hell I just got some newspapers and did it while I watched tv. Porting wasnt adsactly fun but it goes pretty quick if you got the right bits/die grinder. If I would rather polish 2 plenums than have to take off my passenger side manifold again
Either way it looks good ez. You going to get the vette aluminum extension? I think it ran me $38.xx. Tiny little bolts are $7 bucks each though! Stay away from them.

duh... you know that particles fly in the air... and land on things... and stuff....
i do all my sanding outside... when it comes to wet sanding i take it into the basement, turn on my music and subs, and sit at the sink for 5 hours.

Got the gaskets and new bolts today. Hope to get started in the garage tomorrow as it is supposed to rain. Maybe have some pics of mine by tomorrow night. Did you sand past 400 grit or go to 400 grit and then polish.
I am thinking about doing the same as I did with my rims, start with 80 grit and then go up to 400, after 400 go to polish with high speed polisher. They came up real shiny so should get same.
I will post pics when done and you can let me know how it compares.
