Carm has a chance at running a 10 this summer if he can tune it and keep all the parts attached to the car.

I'm not really sure how this game goes

[slade]But what kind of fuel economy does the Formula get? And it's gonna need a wonderbar to control the massive amounts of bumpsteer it will encounter.[/slade]

Why does Stiffler like chick bands?
Why can't I find a word that ryhmes with orange?
How do they get the caramel inside a Caramilk bar?
Why doesn't Ronald McDonald just kick the hell out of The Hamburgler? He could take him, I know it.

DOH..I thought what work my car is getting..According to Slade, the end of the driveshaft(where the u-joint goes) needs to be cut and re-welded since its not straight.$60 for labor and $40-50 for the parts..

bravo.. you can look up, order and install parts from a catalog...

Now build it right and learn to tune it!

Your car runs 15's, STFU

Build it right? Are you freaking kidding me? You're right, I should just listen to the complete garbage that you spew. Then my car would be "fast" , right? You don't know what you're talking about half the time and for the other half you just make things up.

This junk you persist on running about my car is weak. Very weak. I chose good parts that have proven themselves in other cars. Yes, my tuning was terrible. But I never made any excuses about that. The car ran horribly all summer. I'm going to be ordering more parts for the car later this week. I got the part numbers from catalogues too. Speed costs money. You'll find that out if you ever choose to make more than 175whp or break into the 14's.

So, oh tuning guru of sothern ontario, will you make my car run right? I doubt it. That is unless installing a "wonderbar" will solve my car problems.

And the other member(s) of the "K-Town" crew do not speak for me. But I wouldn't talk to much junk about Dave's car. It's going to make some awesome power if it holds together.

NEXT!!!

I want in.................

If only I had a car that go's let alone understand what I'm talking about. I guess I'll pick on those that I have beaten or ran against.

Scratch Paul (Acceld) off the list considering last summer his crappy untuned car smacked me silly on the last run. I ran a 15.2 and he chugged along to a 13.6. I probably stood a better chance if his car was tuned lol.....I have the time slip to remind me of how far back I am from the pack

So I guess I'll be hunting down all the TBI's and putz's who can't drive stick( you know who you are) this summer, if I even get to go to the track.

So bring on the smacks girls!!!! Too many excuses here....

Paul...I hope you can come out again and give an embarrasing rematch..

Slade...bring it on the snap crackle and pop beast..

Dante...jump in the engine bay and start running..

Alex...depress clutch first than shift not forgetting to release after shifting..

Gerrit...bring on the hair dye biatch

NOW THIS IS SMACK TALK.....KEEP IT CLEAN AND FUN GIRLS

REMEMBER>>>>FUN!!.................NOT PERSONAL

enjoy!!:lala: :lala: :lala: :lala: :lala:

Gotta love that smack talk.
I may be biased here, but anybody who runs the times and speeds Paul is running, UNTUNED, I don't think is a car just any shmo wants to challenge. Just remember guys, while you were tuning and playing over the winter, so was Paul. You may be quicker now, but so is he!!!
Keep talking the smack, and get spanked down the 1/4

Hey daz, just for you...

Manufacturers make recommendations for a reason... hint hint...

koff scat crank + fluiddamper = koff

This is fun, gimme your next shot!
Why does this feel like the retard kid from elementary school is trying to fit in with the others? Drooling all over the places, saying stupid things, peeing in corners...

If you really want to run a k-town member, I have a Tempo thats more in your league.

You know what buddy, i've always seen that people who laugh at others misfortunes usually eat it many times themselves.

I think maybe you should look at a few facts here:

1. Your car probably doesnt make enough power to break anything

2. You can't hide behind the "reliability" of your high 15 sec stock ride, face it Z25's run 15's these days

3. If you didn't care about making power you wouldn't even be in this thread

4. Let's see how well YOU build & install your own engine.

Man, this is getting violent, I'm not even involved and I want to kick Slade1's A$$ down the track repetedly, mind you, it would get pretty boring after the first time. Maybe after all the people that dont know what they are doing beat you, you will go home and let us race.

**All things aside, I just wanted to bug trigger on the whole timing thing, but figured after Paul took a shot at me that I'd want get in on it, I'm the big advocater of peace and fun and all and $#it just realized I'm pulling an Alex here**

So peace out, I'll race whoever wants some, but this is my everyday car, fun to drive to work, and I can't honestly afford the parts or time to run in Paul's league as man his car really does impress me. Daz's car, for what its worth was a fine car until it went, and from the slip's I've heard, 12's on that was impressive, but this kind of talk and pressure I feel, it kinda pushed him to rush on something that given time and care would have shown us amazing times, but he had to rush and the car went.

On another note, I want to see Paul's car come out and blow the hell out of mine, I recall some of his plans for it, parts and the like and with the new body (yay Camaro) will be one sleek fast car. Just get it together with care and tuned great, no rush.. if it don't run by the day, there's always more days to come.

Stang Eater, the 2nd gen I've read about.. man I'm interested in seeing that thing run.. my dad had a 2nd gen Camaro and he says he hated it but when I was a kid, it was all I could talk about "dad's car" was my favorite thing to say and always kept an eye out for it when he came from work.. ah the memories...

What can I say, this is going way overboard for my tastes. I've had years doing the flaming war thing and this has brought up some bad memories of that, friends lost over a stupid topic gone out of hand. I'm wussing out of smack talk. Peace out.

I think we need a "cheap street" class... with a claimer rule.

I would decimate all.

WOW

Great thread. I haven't been around in a while but you guys have sure shook off those winter blues.

DAZ This is a serious question so don't take it wrong. I know someone building a 383 and was wondering if you had any advice to prevent it from going kaboom? Wondered if you determined the cause of your mishap?

Anyway can't trash talk anybody yet cause everything is in a heap in the garage/driveway/behind the garage/In the rafters and oh yeah new fenders in the furnace room. But Once this stuff gets put together Oh man Are you guys in for an !@ss Kickin.

Headin to the garage gotta make some subframe connectors so this thing do go all twisty the first time it gets stomped on at the line.

After taking everything apart, there are no signs of parts failing.even the bores are perfect..Its basically two parts that are not compatible. The way the Scat9000 series were manufactured and the way Fluidamprs/Streetdamprs stops the vibration.I also learned that this applies to all import non-forged cranks.I opted for the fluidampr cause my stock damper is on its way out..They were not really made to last at 6500 RPM. I asked Scat and Fluidampr before I installed it(since I need to verify the part number/application).This problem is not popular yet as the Scat9000 series crank are relatively new in production.the motor was dynoed at 350RWHP without PROM tuning, gasket matching(TPI lower runners)or the 30lb injectors.
