I didn't run yesterday. Only mods I've installed since the last time I ran are rear shocks and an adjustable panhard bar... Not really gonna help my 1/4 any at the point I'm at which is high 15's. Best ET is in the sig. When my springs and weight jacks arrive I'll install all the rest of my suspension stuff and make another trip but probably goto cayuga or grand bend instead. Figure I can bring my 60ft down from 2.4 to 2.2's hopefully at a better track than Sparta and put myself in the mid 15's.

How did you end up running for the day?

I was all over the place like usual. When the car was cold I ran 13's with a best of 13.55 @ 100.8mph and a second best before I went home at 13.94 @ 104.6mph (not bad i think for stock TPI intake/runner/plenium).

When the car was hot I was low 14's but always over 100mph, it just dont like the heat.

Traction is still my worst nightmare, my bridgestones just plain sux, expecialy at sparta and I was too lazy to put my M/T's on. I figure cold car with the slicks and a perfect run my car should be high 12's. I run kinda like an LT1, everyone seems to get me out of the hole and I gotta play catchup. Strange u might think for a TPI well consider that I am usualy gettnig rubber into 3rd down the line. I guess some traction mods should be next on my list.

But I still got a couple bug's to work out, I am running kinda lean at the moment, the 24# injecters are borderline to small. I should of went with 26# ones.

Next time we goto GB u should tag along It would be the group that was parked infront and abit to your cars right with that noisy 2nd gen Firebird (complete with grey 6" cowl hood) and trailer that will be going.

Not bad at all Adrian. TMP was great for traction yesterday. The VHT was down, and everyone was sticking well. You should really try to come down to TMP one time to see how she works here.

Dang I didn't realize Arthur was that far. Well we at SOGM have be discussing a camp weekend for next summer, and we will be inviting all who would like to join us from here, CCFBG and KWF to join us. Bing campgrounds just outisde of Dunnville is where it will be at, they have a huge group site that will be perfect! And it is only about 25 minutes from TMP. So if you can wait till next year, that may be a better idea for you??

LMK next time you guys head to GB for sure then Adrian. I might just have all my suspension on by then. Not that it'll be setup for the strip but I'm sure with the better traction of GB and the adjustability I'll have I'll get a personal best anyway.

I did not run my car this time out.. She's in pieces right now. Getting ready for the 406. I'll have her out next year for sure. This year has been tough, being that I have little money to put into the car.
