And I get it alll the way home from Missisauga on gridlocked 401 traffic....woohoo, yay for me. JUST as I get to my brothers' place in Courtice, I go to make a turn....*snap* I feel the steering *pop*...haha, serp. belt tensioner, gone! The guy I'd bought it from just had done the belts, I guess the tensioner gave up the ghost...so, a $50 part and Canadian Tire labour later, I have my car running perfect!(yes, I know, boo to Canadian Tire when you can do it yourself, but I watched the guy like a hawk, I had no time, no tools, no patience, and no resources, anyways). the thing is FAST....! I mean, probably not fast to a lot of you on here pushing 300+ hp, but fast for me! Will talk more later.

Again, congrats on the new purchase. And I'm glad to hear you got the belt thingie straightened out quickly. Nothing worst than having a new ride and not being able to ride it.

Glad your happy with your new machine! And congrats on getting it. A tensioner isn't that bad I guess, but no one likes to have their new car screw up right away. A few of the things I always do on any used car I buy is; spark plugs, wires, fuel filter, oil change, gear oil change... Even a rad and trans flush depending on the condition of the fluid. All the fairly cheap maintance things along wtih acomplete tune up.
