AC Delco engine
Can anyone tell me about the AC Delco 5.7L engines offered at GM.
They couldnt give me any stats on it, only that its a basic 5.7L all new parts with 3 yr warrenty?
Can anyone add on to that, or does anyone know of a good shop that rebuilds engines in Hamilton area?
How is NAPA for engines, would going with AC Delco the better choice between the two?

The GM engine would be much better than a NAPA (as far as I know). You can get a GM 300Hp pretty cheap these days, and it would be a solid motor.

Behind a couple of Autoparts extras around here are Engines Extra. I've seen some nice rebuild come from 2 different shops. They are a full machine shop as well so they can do A-Z. I'd ask them as well.

yeah, depending where you are located?? There are alot of great shops who could build you a decent engine for the same money as a stock crate engine. Where you from in Ontario???

Im located in Hamilton On area and my search for an engine is over with, I just ordered an L98 AC Delco engine, 3 yr warranty for almost the same price as a rebuild.
Ive been calling around looking for engines for a month now and have found some good deals but then its all chance with rebuilds and used.
All the local shops dont have any 350s in stock at the moment, called 4 of them.
The warranties were not good with all those and actually some rebuilts were more expensive then what I got.
Thanks for the help
