I keep hearing about all this cool f-body stuff going on in the states and near toronto but it would be cool to get all us windsor third geners together for a cruise night this summer. whose with me?

Last year all the old cars got together at the rona by lauzon pkwy. but it is hit and miss, that was on thursdays

I'm not sure when they start back up but there is a place on malden road in lasalle called boppers that has weekly cruise nights in the summer. they get quite a few people there and a few f-bodies (mostly 1st+2nd gen).
I'm usually the only 3rd genner but there are lots of other cool and rare cars.
I've even seen a bricklyn there.

sounds good, let me know where. my car has a vibration at high speed I'm having the wheels balanced and u-joints replaced in the hopes that that will take care of it and I can take her on the hiway. I also just got a tune up so I'm ready for a drive. Anybody going to take their car to the trans am nats in ohio this summer?

the mechanic took it to said that I should replace them but they weren't causing the vibration. I had the wheeld balanced and it went away some. I wa thinking about having the driveshaft balanced. are you selling u-joints or are you a mechanic?

sounds like a drive shaft, but the u joints wouldnt matter,lik you said. the tires would have more of an effect.

I have gotten d/shaft balancing done at bears in oldcastle but they take a while. last i hear 401 mack on county rd 46 off of walker does excellent work for that stuff. would have to check though

let me know how it turns out, i think i have a spare shaft if you would like to try it out.

What you want to do is get an aluminum shaft out of a newer f-body. The steel shafts are notorious for vibrating over 120km/h.

I found an aluminum one on e-bay but after spending 5oo bucks on changing a fuel filter my other ta projects are on hold until my wallet fills up again.

Jay, a friend and I were rollin past the plaza last week and saw tents and a HUGE crowd of people on the parking lot across the street where the gas station is, across from Kennedy. Did they move it across the street or was somethin else happenin? Whatever it was, it looked like it got a lot of attention.

that was the lebaneese fest going on across the street... so the plaza was pretty much full from people parking in it and going to the fest... i think everyone just went to rona on the east side instead..

nice to see some locals on here. i see third gens all over essex county but not too many post here. it would be awesome to get a windsor third gen gathering.

ya it's a cool little town. One of the forst settlements in Canada actually the second i was told.

It would be cool to get a little gathering only my cars still under the wrench and under the hood is only a 6 banger whitch blows but by summer anyways.

i'd be down for a meet... i just got done installing my cam... hopefully everything goes smoothly tomorrow when i get her running!
