Any "You do it" garages around Ottawa?

Just wondering if there are any "fix it yourself" type garages in the Ottawa area? What I mean by this is you rent some workspace (by the hour or day or week) and if you need a hoist or a torch, etc. etc. you can rent them to use as well.

There are/were quite a few of them around the Toronto area- but I haven't heard of any in/around Ottawa.

Anyone know of any and what their fees are like?

No one in Eastern Ontario know of such a place? Is there no need of such?

Would anyone around here use one if it existed?

Not sure. I don't think I'd ever use one personally, but i haven't heard of any around Ottawa.

Whats the hourly rate go for those things anyways?

The one's in T.O. used to charge like $5/hour for space- then like $15 an hour if you're on a hoist.

Thats not too bad for a hoist rental. I'm assuming you have to drag your own tool chest there with you as well?

Usually you have to bring your own handtools. Things like jacks, torches, air tools- i.e. bigger/more expensive stuff- you can rent there.

Car: A Camaro of some sort.
There used to be one in Aylmer on the Quebec side years ago. I painted two cars in there because they had both a mechanical rental area and a body work rental area. They were always busy but closed up shop because they said their insurance rates went bezerk.
