Need Exhaust Wisdom!
Hi guys, here's my set-up...4-bolt 350 truck block sitting in my 84 z28, Hedman shorty's with 2.5" collector, and I need to hook up to stock. I know Hedman and other's make y-pipes, and I will buy one if need be, but a local has a Borla y-pipe made for 4th gen LT1's up for sale, and the price is too good to overlook if it will work for my application. Any light to shed on the subject? thanks guys, 84Z

I don't know, but my guess is that it will be close, but will not work. All header manufacturers use different collector setups.
If you don't want to buy the right one, but are in a hurry, get a custom Y pipe fabbed up.
Try Carline on Wellington in Guelph. It will be a noisy ride, hope it's not too far.

thanks very much, I will look into that. Hedman make a y-pipe that isnt crazy expensive, so I have that option as well. Thanks for the insight
