Hey everyone.
I've been managing a small chassis shop in the Barrie area for the last little while.
Everything from full tube 25.x certified chassis to back halfs, mini tubs, roll cage, subframe connectors, etc.
We can offer a pickup and delivery service (open trailer) within an hour or two of Toronto.
It's that time of year and we're hoping there might be interest in some fabrication.
Thanks.

Can you ballpark me a price for sfc installation? Gonna be tossing them into my car this summer and want to if I should just pay someone to do it to avoid the headache. Thanks

Do you have a particular brand in mind?
I'm running the Spohn's.

Not particularly, haven't put to much thought into what brand yet. Been busy hammering out everything else the car needs, brakes, functioning electrical system an engine.

I remember that. Still have it an am looking for another.

The shop is near Baxter. Called Altered Images. Tom Britton has been running this shop here for about the last decade. Previous to this address he was near Mayfield. He was a regional manager form Performance Improvements and then took over Altered Images when it was still the installation division of PI. Since then he bought it outright and has been building chassis and cars on his own ever since.

The only comment regarding sub frame connectors is that the optional powder coating makes it a pain to install. There is a lot of contact with the Spohn SFCs as they're stitched to the rocker channel as well as the front and rear frame sections. That's a lot of grinding to get a clean surface. You have to get in there with paint after the install so the arguement is (from the welders point of view) get them bare metal and paint them as a whole after they're in place. Personally I'm partial to the powder coating, but then again, I'm not the installer.
