No, I live half way between Kars and Manotick. I own a red '87 GTA.
Has the burger joint in Kemtville started it's cruise-in yet? What night is it again? Tuesdays??? Not really great cruise-in weather lately though huh?

Buddy I know right where you live.Is it that house up on the hill with those garages next to it? Right down from Majestic? Im not crazy or anything I just take that road home from Algonquin because its a nice road. The cruise nights started up about a monthe ago.Its getting crappy because its not local cars anymore and its getting to be more OLD cars instead of musclecars.Stuff like old 50's 4 doors and stuff.I'm not really into that.It used to be great.Last year there was a Viper , a ZR-1 , a Saleen roadster , a Hemi Roadrunner , a Buick GN , a '69 COPO 427 camaro all in one night. For a town of 2500 people I was impressed.

Actually, I think I may live right next door to that place. If you take 1st line home, off Century about a mile and a half, on the right side of the road (going towards Kars) you'll see a black GTA usually parked beside a house close to the road. At nignt it has the house # in red lights on the house, that is the Campbell residents. Well I live just before there. (Sorry for the long windedness, but the black GTA is the only landmark people like us could pick out in a second) I only got to stop by the cruise-in last year once. Lots of really nice stuff, but I know what you mean, not alot that really appeals to my taste as much as muscle. If the GN was on the Jack May cruise hosted night, that might have been a buddy of mine. He works parts at Jack May. Incidentally, he just finished painting it last week. Haven't seen it, but I'm told it looks incredible. Knowing him, it just may be the nicest looking GN in the area now. He has a couple simple bolt-on's on it, it goes like hell now.

I know that guy.He used to have a really sweet Monte Carlo SS until it got stolen.I think his name is Mike.I've rapped with him a few times. He's a turbo nut. That is a nice GN.I had a little problem with a tech at Jack May's so I don't visit there anymore.

That is exactly the same guy, his name is Kyle Herrick, he's from North Gower. That SS he had was THE nicest SS I have ever seen. It wasn't modifided much, but he is into making his rides look as good as possible and then going for power. He was about to put a slightly moded TPI350 in it before it got stolen about 4 or 5 years ago. He got the GN a month after to replace it.
Yeah, I used to work at Jack May, I get along with everyone there really well, but about the only thing I've have done there is wheel alignments. I don't let anybody there touch anything else on my car. Their all good guys, it's just ...you know.
Kyle was telling me that every Friday night out on Barnsdale Rd (if your on the 416 going towards Ottawa, after you go by the offramp for Manotick,Bankfield, the next bridge you go under about 1 mile up the road has no offramp, that's Barnsdale) starting just after the bridge going towards Moodie Dr. there's some wild street racing. Usually a minimum of 50 cars. I guess some guy blew up his Porche 2 weeks in a row. It's supposed to be kinda crazy.(as long as the weather is good I guess)
