Dirty Rotten Pot Hole (sneaky one)
Warning: I was going down Colnel Talbot Road headed north from 401 to Lambeth when my car made a huge Wham sound. Sounded like the right front tire went through the hood of the car!! This was not a big pot hole you could see from any distance it was only about a foot square but felt like it was 3 feet deep. Anyway I drove the car home and didn't have any problems. But the next morning when I went to go for a ride the right front tire was flat. Pumped it up and took it the garage and when the took the tire off HOLY *^$*&$*$ the rim was bent in about an inch and a half. I HATE WINTER HATE POT HOLES TOO.
Anyone who has a front IROC RIM for a good price I would appreciate a reply. Mine are painted white to match body colour.
Watch out for those sneaky %$#^%#^%#ers.

Small Claims
I tried to respond to this yesterday but it would'nt go on the board for some reason.
Call the MOT and find out who's responsible for maintaining the the road and then sue the township or municipality or whatever in small claims court. You can get the the court forms and instuctions off the internet. Search under ontario - small - claims etcetera.
Your damages are probably at least a grand and you can recover your court costs as well. Get a picture of the pothole with a ruler stuck in it to show depthe in width. Get another wider angele shot to show the road generally. Don't get run over doing this and if you do get run over don't call me.
If you'd hit a pothole like that on a curve at speed and wracked yourself up bigtime so that there was'nt enough cash in your insurance policy for your future medical expenses you'd be going after the township for the excess.
Those jokers are responsible, they maybe could have killed you or they might still get someone else. Go after them and you might find that a judge will listen.
Also, do it soon because, as you might expect, there is a real short limitations period for actions against the county.
