Rear Spoiler...
How exactly do you remove the rear spoiler? It is cracking and the paint is peeling.
If I could afford it, I would replace it. But that is out of the question ,so I also need to know how to fix it up so that it doesn't look like a POS.

If you open the hatch you should see where the bolts are located underneath. I'm assuming this is the GTA "big hunk of rubber" spoiler...the tips of the spoiler closer to the front of the car I believe are held in by clips. Once you get the other bolts off they should come out easily. If the wing is cracked and warped, any good body shop won't recommend trying to fix it and it will just start to crack again within a year or so. My suggestion is to save your pennies and get a fiberglass wing...more durable and lighter weight.
there is one bolt on either corner, and 2 bolts where the 3rd brake light is, all bolting from underneath. After all bolts are removed, you lightly nudge the whole spoiler forward until it stops, and wiggle the spoiler off the clips. I think a lot of people screw up there and just try to pry the spoiler off the clips.

Can you purchase new clips for these? I think this is why my spoiler is peeling and flaking. It is only doing this on the tips, there is too much flex. If I can replace these clips I will repaint it and see if it happens again. Well... if they are available, I bet you can only get them through the dealership.
Its nice to pass knowledge down.... I would have just pryed them off too, but my buddy's dad owns a collision shop, and he told me how to take it off

Knowledge is a good thing. I am going out to an auto wreckers sometime this week where they have a couple of thirdgens. I was told I can go in and take a look, so I will have to add the spoiler/clips to my list.
DON'T BOTHER
The stock spoiler is a POS - a heavy one at that. It will crack and peel with time no matter what you do. Go with a Fiberglass unit from Paradise Alley. They have them for around 400 bucks. They will last forever and your trunk will stay open!!
