I finally had time to take a few pics of my '87 T/A and the before and after pics of my rims that I have been attempting to polish. They still need a little more polishing, but they are getting there.Kevs87TA pics
The dash isn't mine , but it looks exactly like it except I have the power button and gain control for the subs. If the pics don't come up,let me know.

I agree, it will undergo a complete detailing job come spring, that's why I didn't post any pics of the engine. The pics on my page, are the before and after pics of the '82 Firebirds' engine.Banned
Thowe rims are looking mint!! Takes patience eh? What did you use to strip the clear coat off? Did you car come with the digital dash setup?
Hey Nathan, believe it or not, I used a varnish remover, very carefully I might add. It took me about a half hour to strip one rim. Patience is what one needs to do this job. After that it was different grits of sandpaper. I still want to buff them up more and maybe repaint the gold.
My car did come with the digital dash. It's pretty cool, so long as nothing goes wrong with it. It will be very expensive to replace.
BTW, the spoiler clips, they are no longer available through GM. However they suggested for me to talk to their bodyshop to see if they can help me out.
