OK I found out where my car entered Canada!!
Awhile back I posted a message basically trying to get some information on my car. Well "zedder 1990" gave me a great place to start... GM Vintage Services!... I called and gave them my VIN and they said they would send me a package.
Got the package today and it was full of great information. Most importantly was what dealer took pocession of my car back in 1987. That dealer was Ontario Motor Sales Ltd. in Oshawa, Ontario. So at least I know that the car was in Ontario during the first few years of its life at least
Hell maybe somebody on this board had my car back in the day at one time
.. hehehe, how cool would that be?!?!? hahaha Take a good look, does the car look familiar to anybody?? hehehe
Another nice piece of information that I will share here is that in 1987 there were 9,173 IROC-Z's imported into Canada. Out of that many there were 1,757 with the B2L RPO (performance package plus engine package L98)..
Anyway... now I need to get some information on where my car went from the dealer. Anybody got a contact in the Motor Vechile Department??
I kinda like doing this "detective" work...
I will get the full history on this car.... just give me enough time

Thanks Paul!!
Thanks man...something should come up in the Ministry Database... the car came into Ontario. And if I was the one that bought this car new from the lot I would have kept it!! hehe.. but I guess some people are not 3rd Gen Nuts like we are
I hope that my car only had one owner in Ontario, that would make me the 3rd owner.... but in 12 years who knows how many hands it has passed through

I know I keep saying this, but,if you run your VIN at a dealership, and if the car has been serviced at any GM dealership, they can print off any records of your vehicle. This is how I found out about the seatbelt recall, what dealership sold my car originally (Pineview Pontiac in Toronto)and a complete list of all my RPO's.All that for free.I think it's worth the try. You can even inquire over the phone.
