We will also have a new location. Something more centrally located and easier to access.

Very cool of you to put this together again Chazman! Can't wait!
The car won't be there, but maybe seeing everyone else will be the kick in the rear I need to get it sorted

Thanks, already have gotten some positive feedback regarding the new more centralized location. As long as we have good weather, I'm expecting a record turn out.

Re: ThirdGen Expo 2018
Weather and life sucked at the same time yesterday.
I was replacing the timing cover seals on my GTA Saturday and the Optispark seal didn't want to come out. Unfortunately late Saturday night the front cover cracked while trying to get the seal out and dropped metal to the bottom of the front pan.
So it was a full stop to locate a new timing cover. Thankfully I have a front cover on my old LT1 block that is usable. So I can pull the broken one, flush the oil pan out to remove any metal fragments and get the car going again. But it killed my Sunday morning.
So I didn't get to D&B until 3PM.

Re: ThirdGen Expo 2018
Kind of simplistic interface. Would have been amazing to have 15 years ago.
But I could see how it could be used to keep interest up for events. If upcoming events were one of the first things listed on the home page it might generate last minute interest for those who were unaware of something.
Or even with guests who are just visiting without a registered login to see the details.

Re: ThirdGen Expo 2018
I'd like to head down from Toronto. Is there a place a Truck and car trailer could be stored? I'm not sure if I want to try a 500 mile drive in that car. If something sh!%s the bed I'm screwed.

I'm not sure about storing, but there should be plenty of room in the Dave and Busters lot to park it..

Re: ThirdGen Expo 2018
Check with the Hotels in the area. They might let you drop the trailer in their lot.
I'm sure they get people who come through with trailers all the time.
If not, maybe one of the members here has enough room to let your truck/trailer sit for the day.

Missed you Tony.
It was fun!
A little lighter turnout, though. Maybe about 40 3rd gens. I blame the heat, change of date and 4th of July weekend.

Re: ThirdGen Expo 2018
I wish my car was running as i'd love to make it to one of these shows with it despite not really even close to show quality. Plus, i'd really like to meet the Illinois members. The heat has sucked this year!
