thanks to denny and beth again!
Just wanted to thank denny and beth again for having this show, I know it's a lot of work and you have to deal with me every year too
Thought it was one of the better shows, the rain just made loading my car on the trailer a little more interesting
Also thanks to everyone who voted for me for best modified camaro and best engine, I really appreciate it, been a long road with a lot of work but I'm sure happy with the results.

Re: thanks to denny and beth again!
Thanks to all that gave me a vote...even though I left like most everyone else with a nice drinking glass and decal. Denny and Beth put on a nice show even if it was miserable weather. It's great to meet people with like interest.
Really sorry about the trenches I know I left in the lawn..my car sank in the grass over the day, and the car refused to idle and kept dying. I found out when I got the car home what the issue really was. It makes a huge difference in idle quality when you hook the PCV hose back up to the vacuum fitting on the back of the blower.
Hope I didn't annoy you too much Steve...I was diggin that two beer grip you were sportin in Denny's garage though!
EDIT: I didn't realize it would be so hard to choose cars to vote on...there were some awesome cars there!!

haha no I wasn't annoyed at all
If I could have got a 3 beer grip I would have tried it out. Ended up soaked head to toe dripping wet loading the car on the trailer....what a blast

It was raining so hard I didn't even see you guys till I passed you...I was afraid to stop because I was stalling out BAD due to the stupid hose that fell off that I mentioned in my post above. Needless to say, she was runnin real lean..lol My A/F gage was in the lean/red all the way home...

Yes Thank you !
Fantastic show . I was not expecting that kind of turnout either . Love the mugs , great idea. May I suggest a shot glass for one of the upcoming fests ?

Re: thanks to denny and beth again!
Wish the weather would've been better...I was hoping to tap your expertise in tuning the carb better, and you most likely would have found the loose hose way before I did. But there's no way I could have tested any tuning you might have done on wet roads. I darn near wrecked it goosing the thing at 65 mph on the highway on the way home on the wet road....the rear totally went squirrley..it really scared me..
First time I drove it in the rain since I boosted the thing....I'm sure it's peanuts compared to what you're used to though... Thread Starter

Re: thanks to denny and beth again!
I was just happy when I released the brake pedal in the grass that the car moved forward instantly, I had visions of having to back the trailer in the lawn to get the car out
. Although I will say that thing was awesome to check out, I love boosted/blown/nitrous power adder cars
Maybe we can get together another time and mess with it somewhat.
