He was parked next to me and had these really awesome i guess Strobe lights on his car. I was wondering how he did it? Ill try to find a video because i know its somewhere on Youtube but i really want to do it.

He bought the car like that, it is 1 of 4 89 TTA's like that, it was a kit they came with from the factory

 

Oh wow really? I thought it was part of an alarm set. Just strobes. Do you think it could be done?

 

Yep, but if you want the strobes that were integrated in the spoiler....your out of luck on that! unless you can magically find one..lol

 

haha nah i just wanted the the rest OTHER than the spoiler. Is it just strobes?

tons of strobe light kits at any place that sells medium duty truck equipment like plow trucks, etc

yepp you are right! Whoever designed the kit built one for himself which is the 4th

 

Ok so not a kit from the factory the person that did the 3 pace cars for GM was a friend of Mike and together with Mike's brother they did the 3 pace cars for GM ... however this person (he unfortunatly passed a way a number of years back) also did one TTA for himself identical to the other 3 and that is the one Mike owns today so very glad it's in good hands and with one of 3 people that actually were part of the original strobe light build of the 3 pace cars ... Mike still got the prototype pieces his brother made and the templates ...

So no you can't buy what they built back in 1989 for GM ... and strobe light technology come a long way from back then being much smaller electronics and generating less heat (bulbs) ...
