need some help here

ok, im about to buy a 1989 firebird formula. the dude say its a brand new 355 tpi, with 6000 miles and the tranny was just rebuilt. now i have a couple of questions. say i wanted to buy headers.... would i look under 355 or 350? are there any differences between the 355 and 350 besides 5 cubic inches? one more Q..... is the 355 a 5.7 L ?? thanks alot

Welcome to the boards.
A 355 is a 350 that has been bored .030" over. So it is the same as a 350 except a bit bigger bore. So you'd look for headers and most other things for a 350. Lastly, a 355 is a 5.7L engine. Good luck getting your car. You've definatly found the place to find out information about it.

just an FYI. Using a volume calculator, 355ci equals a 5.817411923564124 Litre. or 5.8L
