Well number 4 700r4 is going out now and the cars running like 220 degrees on an 80 degree day. Well it went over 220 and i cut it off. Now the damn thing won't start back up. It did this last summer. I have a 160 stat and it still does it. What is the deal. And can someone please find me a good place to get a used 5 speed manual tranny for my car. Peace of ****.
i have a 86 305 tpi trans am they are sweet and they go pretty good
hey dude nice wheels i have one too i am thinking of changing the cam to the summit cam is your 86 with the ws6 package if so then you got a three inch exhaust all the way get rid of your cat and she will fly

I'll take a shot in the dark at this..going off the minimal amount of troubleshooting information you've supplied.
Engine only needs a few things to start.. Spark (at the correct time), fuel (proper amount) compression and air.
Assuming you have fuel and spark, and the fact that you seem to indicate the engine is running warmer/hotter than normal/used to be...I'd look into an exhaust restriction...a restricted exhast does a couple of things...causes higher engine temps from retaining hot gasses and pressure...and does not allow air in to the engine (because nothing is getting out).
