the fp went out on my 86 ROC, my dealer installed a new style twin turbine pump on it and ever since the car has to be cranked 2-3 seconds whereas you used to would start on the first few spins...has anyone else experienced this with the new style pump?

 

I experience that with the current pump in my car. I've had the car for about the last four years, so I'm not sure what the previous owners did so I'm not sure if it's the newer style or not.
