Using SVO injectors

I bought a set of 24# SVO injectors and the groove for the locking mechanism doesn't seem to be in the same place, do I need the locking mechanism?

I don't believe that you need the locks...the fuel rail on the TIPI is bolted down.

I am using 30# SVO injectors, and I did not use the locking mechanism. Just makes taking the fuel rail off a little more difficult as some of the injectors will want to stay in the manifold and then fuel leaks out of the rail.

I reused my clips and haven't had any problems.
