need some help after swap

I have completed the swap in my signature and the car drives great ! but I have two problems, my car runs hot. The tempature just keeps going up, even when driving down the road. I have a Griffen aluminum radiator, Edelbrock Victor aluminum water pump, and 180 degree stat. I have a derale 16'' electric fan that is not hooked to the computer, it is an adjustable control and the fan comes on at 190 degrees, but the car does not cool down. All of the hoses are hot, so the coolant is running through and is mixed 50/50. What are you guys running for fans? Do I need dual fans?

next my speedometer is not working, it is hooked up, I did not have much time to investigate further. My car was a 305 TBI, do I need a different VSS for the TPI swap? The car is a 1990 Camaro with a 700R4 and it has an electric speedometer. Any ideas?

Thanks for the help.

have you Bychance Removed the Airdamn Below the radiator and behind the Foglights ?

You would not belive the effect this has on non-stationary cooling power.

I did not remove the airdam, that is what is so strange, driving down the road should keep the car somewhat cool, by my car just keeps getting hotter.

did you make sure the water pump you have is made to spin in the right direction? i believe edelbrock makes two pumps. one conventional and one reverse. just a thought that popped in my head. also check timing, and mixture, etc, etc.
