Possible vacuum connection with nothing attached?!

Hey guys, on a side note from my other thread, I noticed that there is a place on the back of a vacuum junction, I guess we will call it, seen Herewhere my finger is. The 2 holes in the front of the picture have vacuum lines plugged into them but there is a hole at the rear there at the tip of my finger that has nothing running to it. Is there somthing that is supposed to be going on to that???

The guys on Camaroz28.com were too lazy to even go outside and look at their TPI setups...hopefully you guys are more willing to help.

I could be wrong but I dont think there is anything that is supposed to connect there. I noticed the same thing on mine, which is a 305 (dont know if there may be a diff. with your 350)
