I finished my head gasket swap. While I had the heads off I swaped the valve springs. Started it (w/ just heaaders), adjusted vales, set timing, tried messing w/ the fuel presure. Couldn't get the idle below 1400.

I don' think I have a vacuum leak. At least non thats visable. What could make the idle go up 600rpm w/ no obvious changes?

vacuum leak, its the most likely, if you can't SEE one, spray a bottle of water around all the vacuum lines and if the car stumbles you found the vacinity....

Another possibility is the TPS/IAC needs to be reset, coulda bumped it taking the intake off
