Car: 1986 IROC-Z

Engine: peanut cam LB9

Transmission: 700R4

TPI timing

What do I need to do to adjust my timing on my tpi. I know I need a timing light, and adjust at the distributor, but do I need to unplug a wire somewhere or run a jump wire on the ALDL or what?
