Testing fuel pump operation from ALDL

I cant remember how to turn on the fuel pump with the car not running from the ALDL.

I think vader said that you have to ground the G pin with the ignition ON or something. I cant remember for sure though.

Thanks for any help.

I know that someone knows this (vader) and my fuel pump barely made it from florida to NY. now I have to drive to hartford and I really need to make sure the fuel pump will make it.

I have already tested the relay and oil pressure switch but the dang fuel pump sounds sick during the 2 second prime before I start the car. I really have alot of Idle and mixture problems that i think are the result of the pump and all I need to do is test it.

Thanks again for any insight on how to make the fuel pump run with the engine off.

It's been a couple of months since I did this but I am pretty sure you need to supply 12V to the terminal G.
