this is the first time i been on this mess board everyone told me this is the best board so here i am,

first of all i am pulling my motor it's a 305(junk) and i'm putting in a 383ci motor built to the hill , i like the look of the stock plenum so i'm gonna kepp it but everything else is getting changed

here's alist of the mods i'm gonna do

ported plenum, accel runners..intake..throttle body..new injectors(not sure size yet) and SUPER CHARGER!!!!

now back to my question,
i want to change my tpi system to map and i want it to be as professional as poss., i'm trying to clean up the wiring harness as much as poss. so when i go to buy my new runners/intake/
plenum(there's a company that will port and polish them) should i change all parts to later style parts (91-92) howell sells the 92 computers for $150 and if i was to get a aftermarket wiring harness for a 92, am i going in the right direction or am i brain dead? i think my throttle body has an iac sensor in the throttle body but i like the throttle body's with the airfoil built in like holley's can i use them or do i need a special throttle body or can i just upgrade(switch to 92parts)

THATS NUTS!You can get a brand new prom for 50.00 and an ECM for 50.00(probably both for that), thats at least 50.00 less than howe. Talk to John about the wiring and such, he has been doing great things in the thirdgen world(LT1 intake swap onto L98).

You need to visit the prom tuning section of this board immediately cause i forsee issues with a SD wiring harness, 383, and a super charger(like the idea though, slowly headed that way) Prom tuning is a key component that should not be left out. All other components will fall short of optimal without it.
