Cam Install
Ok, after 1 hour of searching I am just going to ask. How do I install a roller cam (LT1) and springs into my roller block 350 while it is still in the car? I already have the intake, valve covers, timing chain, radiator, etc. removed. I am not going to remove the heads I think I loosen the rockers, take the push rods out being carefull not to drop one in the block, pull cam, slide new one in, put lifters back in, put air in the cylinders (?) compress springs, change springs, lash valves????
Basically, I am not really sure as to what to do once the intake and timing chain are off. Could someone help me out here or give me a link to a site that will tell me how to do it? Thanks, I really apreciate it,
Tyler

Take everything off the front of the block
Take out the radiator and Ac condensor
Take off valve covers, take off rockers, pull out pushrods
Take off entire intake
Take off timing chain cover
Take out all the lifters (might be wise to sort them with corrosponding pushrod to keep wear patterns where they originally were)
Unbolt thrust plate, slide cam out
Grease the livin CHIT outa the new cam with cam lube, slide it in
Thrust plate back on, timing chain back on (Line up dots on gears)
Instally lifters/spider tray
Air compressor to fitting into spark plug hole to hold up valves, compress spring, use a magnent to pull retaining locks, slip off springs, slide new ones on (make sure air pressure stays up) and put it back together in reverse order
After springs are done, put in all your spark plugs except #1, put your thumb over the hole and set the piston to TDC Compression stroke 0°.
Put the last plug in and assemble everything
Drop in distrib with the rotor at #1 (make sure you're not 180° out)
Finish putting it back together start it up with 0° base timing to be safe, break it in, then set your timing and go drive
Dont forget all the fluids and dont leave any sockets inside
