3.8l V6 Tpi?!?

Ok I was at work today and saw a early 90s Buick Regal GS, & on the back of it it had an original decal that said "3800 Tuned Port Injection" It kind of threw me because I've never heard of a V6 TPI, but does it really exist, or was it just GM trying to take advantage of the TPI name, just like they do now w/ the Ram Air V6...lmao... They even made the front end of this Regal faintly resemble a GN

Thanks,

-Timbo-

Actually all batch fire FI is called tuned port injection. Even the mustang 5.0 is tuned port injection. I has to do with the "tuned" runners that it got the name tuned port injection.

I've seen "tuned port injection" decals on the regals like you saw, and on the lumina/silouette style GM fwd minivans
