hey guys i havent done much talk on this board because i have a v6 but im soon going to get a 87 firebird formula with the 350. i already know i have to pull the motor because the head gaskets are gone. i was wondering what you 350 guys got for mods. i want to make it run mid to low 12's without the bottle.

 

I replaced the head gaskets on my car with the engine still in the car, it was not very difficult.

Are you going to have the heads worked over, or are you going to buy new aluminum ones?

i know that i can do head gaskets in the car but i wanted to pull the motor and rebuild it. i would like ot keep the stock heads but ported with bigger valves

 

well no intent to be rude,but do a search.Almost everyone here mods their 350's,and many people have discussed their different mods they've done- almost too many to count.

 

12's on stock heads?
