I was wandering what size injectors a 1987 350 TPI motor has? I have herd both #19 and #22 injectors were used I have a few bad injectors in my car and I have a whole set of #19's. I have also herd that a set of #19 with increased fuel pressure work better than #22's. Any help would be appriciated.

i think 19#s would be fine at a high pressure

 

Go with the 22# FI which are standard with a 350 and save your
fuel pump with less pressure.

what size injectors should I use and what kind off fuel pressure do I need for a 406?

 

Fuel injector size is directly proportional to horse power and number of cylinders.


a shot in the dark I'd say you'd need to be around 26-28 but dont know without numbers

 

I run 24 lb Accels with my 406, the BLM's are right on the money.............fuel pressure is just up slightly from stock.
