TB Coolant Bypass Benifits?

What would be the benifits of bypassing the throttle body coolant?

I just did that mod to my car as well. If you noticed after running the TPI cars that the plenum and the rest of the intake system is hot enough to cook off of? The bypass is supposed to lower the temp of your intake system giving you a denser colder charge of air...meaning more power. Its prob not gonna be a noticible improvement but every bit helps

Do a search. There's plenty of posts to look at about disconnecting the coolant.

Benefit: next time you take off the TB, you dont have to unhook any coolant hoses from it. It just cleans up the engine bay and makes things easier to work on. And maybe like 1/2 hp gain. Every little bit helps though.
