Any suggestions on this problem?

I've searched the archives and haven't been able to find anything quite like my problem. A while back I replaced my throttle body gasket and polished the TB it while it was apart. In the process I ruined the TPS. I installed an AC Delco replacement. Sometimes... (not all the time) after I start the car which starts up fine and even idles normal, I put it in gear keeping my foot on the brake, it stalls out and dies. If I put it in gear and remove my foot from the brake quickly, it will hesitate for a second, then drive normal...this problem occured before the TPS going bad and I thought it was attributed to a blown TB gasket....after the TPS swap and a new TB gasket I get a new problem on top of the first... after first starting, I come to a stop and if I give it too much gas it stalls and I hear a single pop from the engine. I keep driving and after about 5 minutes, it runs like nothing is wrong. It still seems sluggish off the line, but I hope that's just because of the SLP headers/summit cam/and world heads taking some torque away/possibly the 2.73 in the rear. Anyway... before the whole TPS situation, I noticed the #7 plug to be black. Correct me if I'm wrong... 7 is driver side/back of the engine. Never replaced injectors, and the fuel pump is about 3 years old. Any thoughts on what I should check? I'm so tired of hopping in the car with my girlfriend or in front of hott babes and my car dies when I put it in gear after starting.
Thanks

If your world heads are sportsmans those gears are WAY to small for 200cc intake runners.

As far as the pop from the engine you might want to check your timing and make sure your knock sensor and all is working.

Also check for vacuum leaks.

Yes the #7 cylinder is in the back driverside

I have the S/R Torquer 305, not Sportsman. Wouldn't a vacuum leak or knock sensor cause it to be bad all the time, not just cold?

Something would have to be pretty serously wrong for it to be knock retarding at idle.

I'd spray a bottle of water around all vacuum hoses, and gaskets, etc to see if you can locate any vacuum leaks (idle will start to studder when you find it)

any codes or anything?

No codes... haven't thrown a code since the bad TPS being replaced. It only pops sometimesafter I'm already going, say after I get to a stop then give it too much gas in gear, then it hesitates, not at idle though.
