I was out checking things with my scantool and noticed that my tps voltage was only going up to 1.4 volts at wot. I know it should be close to 5 volts so what the hell. The car is not going open loop. The tps is set at .54 volts. I read something about cutting off the tabs and repositioning it on the throttle body but it was kind of vague and didnt want to hack up the tps without knowing exactly what i was doing. If anybody can explain it in detail i would appreciate it.

 

Sounds like a bad TPS, better off replacing it than modifying it.
