LT1 intake / TPI intake height difference

Been doing a lot of soul searching lately on intakes. I am thinking
of putting an LT1 intake on the Jaguar when I switch it over to
speed density. Problem is that there is not much room between
the TPI intake and the hood now. How much taller is an LT1
intake than the TPI intake? Also how much taller are the other
LT1 knock-offs than the TPI intake?

I want to Switch to SD, LT1 intake and burn my own proms but
don't know if the intake will fit.

HELP!!!!

The LT1 intake is TONS shorter, in fact theres alot of TB bracket clearance, and air duct issues because of how short it is, but you could drop a thirdgen hood a few inches and still clear an LT1

John, are you just modding intakes as you pick them up? Where are you picking them up?

I do mod as I get them or people can send me their core. It's not easy to find sometimes especially with a fuel rail so I source them for people that don't want to bother looking for one to send.

As far as my sources, I cannot tell.
