Best air intake, SD 383 cui
I'm switching to SD now so I'll be removing my MAF. Has anyone any pict. ideas of the best way to build/place the air filter.

From what ive seen the best design is a straight tube like the stock one, it gets cold air and is a straight shot! I have seen dynos from people with custom intakes and such and the stock one is always better for HP!!!!

OHH u have a firebird! My bad, the camaro is the one with the straight shot intake! Like if you go to the tech data section, it says on the bottom that the camaro has about 5HP more than the firebird..... Yea if i had a firebird i would do a custom cold air intake to!
