hey guys, i am wondering if it's possible for me to swap out my 305 tpi engine for a 350 engine. i will need the block, internals and a nice set of heads. i'm looking at the lt4 hotcam and the heads i'm still undecided with, but looking for something cheaper(under $1000) but also create a good amount of hp. the vette aluminums sound like a good deal, i can get them for $600 fully loaded. i am just wondering if i can do all this for around $2000. maybe a little more, but i already have the TPI unit and i will be using the stock 19Lb. injectors with a afpr. the knock sensor will be changed and i will be having my chip custom burned for my application. should i buy all the parts separately and assemble them myself and have the engine shop do the machine work or just buy a shortblock and throw the heads on? let me know on some ideas, thanks guys!

 

anyone???? one more thing, i'm probably going to be using the sportsman 2 heads instead. i just found a great deal on them for about $500 bare so thats not to bad. should i just guy a shortblock or build my own?
