i didn't know where else to post this, so here goes: i want to remove all of that smog and emission stuff on my car.....how would i go about taking it all off, including the egr system....is there any special thing that has to be done w/ the egr solenoid....any help is appreciated, thanks!

 

How do you plan on passing the Jersey treadmill emission inspection without all that?

Mine passes without EGR but I'm running a bigass cam with enough overlap to ensure some amount of exhaust gas gets recirculated during part-throttle cruise.

 

know a guy who has a shop that can get me a sticker...i actually just passed, so i have two years to worry about it now

When I did my motor swap I just capped the AIR tubes. These caps look like vacume caps that are made out of heater hose material. As for anything with electrical conections... just unplug them. The tubes that run around everywhere just come out, they may take some elbow grease but just pull them out. then you are free to pull out the air diverters and smog pump.
Do you have a serpentine belt system... then you have to figure out how to bypass the smog pump. I think someone did that in a tech article.
