Running out of Ideas..Help please

Well here's what is happening:

-When I first start the car it revs to about 1800-2000 rpm's.
-It will slowly come down to about 900, this is in Park.
-When I shift into Drive the idle goes so far down that it almost dies and the SES light comes on.
-When I start driving it runs great and the SES light goes out.
-Pull up to a stoplight and the idle holds for about 5-10secs then idle shutters and light comes back on and idles crappy. Code 44 shows as the culprit. But comes on and off. Only code in the computer.

Here's what I've done:
-Replaced and set TPS
-Replaced IAC
-Replaced O2 sensor
-Found leak in Throttle body gasket so replaced with a new one. That helped a little, since before that it would stall.
-Set base timing to 7* (close as I could get to 6* with a desccent idle.
-Cleaned IAC passages when installing new IAC
-Today I had the fuel pressure checked. It was 40 psi when ignition turned to on. 38 psi when running with no fluctuations.
Is that pressure normal? After shutting off the engine the fuel pressure held with no leak down.
-New plugs(Bosch plat.+4) and new wires

I'm out of ideas. The only thing is I can hear a hissing like a vacuum leak around the plentum area but sprayed with water and carb cleaner and can't find one. Is a small hissing sound normal air flow I'm hearing through the plentum. Someone told me it was but I was also told I should hear no hissing. Can the EGR cause this idle problem? Everytime I start it the idle goes up to 1800-2000 before coming down, if that tells anyone anything.

Please help with suggestions. I'm still new to this car and I'm out of ideas.

Thanks,
Tim

Anyone??

I've been looking over older posts all afternoon. Guess I will check the manifold bolts next.

Anybody got ideas. I know I'm new, but I take showers just like everyone else

Thanks

Im pretty sure a code 44 usuallly means a vacuum leak which sounds like a likely culprit of your gremlins!!
