TPI HO vs. regular TPI?

What is the difference between a regular TPI setup and a TPI HO?
Did one come with an aluminum manifold?

There was no TPI HO. There were some SLP parts that could be ordered back in 1992, and still available today (though there is even better alternatives IMO). But there was nothing from GM other than the stock TPI setup. The stock TPI is all cast aluminum.

The only real difference in or on a T.P.I. engine are 305,350, and a 350 with aluminum heads (VETTE). Other then the SLP goodies.

The tpi makes it a "high output".But there is no ho tpi option.I have seen 85 305 tpi t/a with a 6 grand redline from the factory though.

or an 86 tpi which should have been called TPI L.O. (low output) jk they are the slower of the tpi cars but, still great cars.

HO?

the H.O. refers to High Output and it is referring to the L69 motor not the Tuned port intake. So what you have is a 305 HO with TPI.

Whats up Cruzin Kaz? I see you made it over from the monte site.

One interesting thing, I looked on my car and it does have an aluminum intake manifold and I know I didn't put an aftermarket one on, and the guy I bought it from (the original owner) didn't mention putting one on either, I am now wondering if it came with it stock?

Mine's listed as an HO as well when I look up the RPO code for our engines (LB9). But there doesn't seem to be much HO on mine, I'll tell ya that

Hey Gruvin. What's up? Yep these guys over here have been a great help. Hopefully someday I will be able to return the help I've been given. Almost got the Monte back out from my little mishap. Costed me about $300 can. to fix her back up. Have a goo one!

Hey 89irocker. All T.P.I engines had a aluminum intake.
