UPDATE on my sick baby...
well, i broke down today and took Formie to the shop, i just couldn't stand to see her like that. turns out that all the sensors i replaced were useless, the ECM is stuck in open loop mode (its a wonder that the car even runs-THAT"S MY BABY!!!) due to wiring problems caused by a previous owner's hackin and splicing. so tomorrow she undergoes treatment and should make a FULL RECOVERY by tomorrow afternoon...

well, no progress yet, the original shop got started and decided that they wouldn't touch her because the wiring was just too messed up, and another electrical place which i was referred to said the same thing, so i finally gave in and took her to the dealer and now im sportin around a '99 Grand Am SE rental, I MISS MY FORMIE

Honestly man, It would probably be much cheaper if you were to just buy a used wiring harness and install it yourself. Youll end up saving yourself alot of time, money, and headaches!
Good luck with her!

no, actually it wouldn't. because i was WRONG. she is still in the shop. the intake manifold gasket blew. the only wiring problem are some wires shorting on the MAF circuit, which the Pontiac dealer is now repairing. so maybe by sometime next week she'll be here.

Ahh well consider yourelf lucky then! The intake manifold job is cake, and the MAF wires are an easy fix as well. Shouldnt cost for than $400 or so for the entire job. Let us know how ya make out!
