maf to speed density

i have a 89 tpi gta which is better maf or speed density? what do i need to convert from maf. how do i do it?

If you engine is not radically modded and your car is running fine, I see no reason to convert to SD.

If your however your engine is so modified that it is not able to run properly with the MAF, or your MAF or your 165 ECM died and the only replacement you can get is from GM (bend over please), then you MAY want to look at converting to SD.

I personally like SD and I fine "tuning the eprom" for SD much easier than MAF (that is more due to the MAF Scalar Tables than anything else). But if I had a perfectly fine running 1989 GTA that was not experiencing driveability problems due to the MAF setup, I'd just leave it alone.

well i would like to convert because i am going to start modifing the engine and also the mass airflow sensor acts up alot.

If i had a MAF car, i figure i'd swap to SD as soon as the MAF went. No point in buying a MAF when for ess money you could go SD.
